SALFORD City were held to a 1-1 draw against Maidstone United in the third round of the FA Trophy at the Peninsula Stadium.

Under new management in John Still and Hakan Hayrettin, The Stones opened the scoring after 22 minutes with Michael Phillips slotting past Max Crocombe.

The home side responded shortly before the break, with a Kieran Glynn delivery bundled home by Mani Dieseruvwe - continuing his run of scoring in each round of the competition.
