DAVID De Gea insists Paris Saint-Germain are favourites to beat United in their last-16 Champions League tie.

The Reds head into tonight's first leg at Old Trafford against the Ligue 1 leaders in fine form, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer winning 10 of 11 games as caretaker manager.

The build-up to the tie hasn't been as smooth in Paris, with Thomas Tuchel losing Neymar for both legs to a foot injury, while Edinson Cavani limped out of the 1-0 win against Bordeaux on Saturday with a thigh injury and will miss the first leg at least.

That has swung the pendulum in United's favour, but De Gea believes PSG remain favourites.

"It will be a very intense match, a great match to play, very special," he said.
