Warriors' Lam Unlikely to Face Son in World Club Challenge

ADRIAN Lam's Wigan will not face a Sydney side containing his son Lachlan in Sunday's Betfred World Club Challenge after Roosters halfback Luke Keary was passed fit to play.

Reports suggested Keary, the Norm Smith medallist for man of the match in the 2018 NRL Grand Final, was struggling with a calf complaint, which would have opened up a spot for 20-year-old Lachlan Lam.

Lachlan's first taste of rugby league came in the under 7s at Wigan St Patrick's when Adrian was a Wigan player and he has yet to make a senior appearance for the Roosters.

"Luke was flying around yesterday and he is right to go," confirmed coach Trent Robinson.

"I know it's a good story for the family and Lachie has had an incredible pre-season, he's trained really well, he's developed really well. …
