PEP Guardiola admits City will have to adapt their game to deal with Newport County's notorious pitch tonight.

The League Two side's ground - the second oldest stadium in use in the Football League - has already played host to SIXTY games with the venue also used by two rugby union teams and the Wales women's football team.

That kind of use has taken its toll ahead of tonight's FA Cup fifth-round tie, despite the Welsh rugby union paying £1m to make it into a hybrid surface in 2017.

The mild weather forecast for the next 24 hours could work in City's favour, however, Guardiola is expecting a tough test for his Quadchasing Blues.

"All of us know it will be so tough," said the City manager.

"Just because they are in lower division it will not be easy, that would be a mistake, we take it seriously and we know how tough it will be. …
