P04 - (Canadians-Haiti) KANATA, Ont. x-16s. Global Affairs has issued an upgraded advisory for Haiti and is now saying Canadians should avoid all travel there due to ongoing civil unrest. The notice advises Canadians to consider leaving by commercial means while they are available. But more than 100 Canadians haven't been able to get to the airport in Port-au-Prince because protesters are blocking major highways to try to pressure President Jovenel Moise to resign.
