Porn Video Cannot Be Used in Sex Assault Trial

A judge has ruled that the prosecution may not use a pornographic video found on the phone of a man accused of sexual assault at his trial next week.

Adnan Pehlivan, 47, is charged with stalking a woman as she and friends left a South Side bar on May 14. Police said he followed her home, broke into her Josephine Street apartment and sexually assaulted her while she slept. She woke up, fought the attacker, and he fled, police said.

During their inquiry, detectives obtained a search warrant for Mr. Pehlivan's phone.On it, they found a video of a man sneaking into a woman's bedroom and performing oral sex on her - the same act for which he is charged.
