Late Fitness Check on Rashford - but 'Kids Are Ready'

MARCUS Rashford is expected to undergo a late fitness test ahead of United's Premier League game against Crystal Palace tonight.

The 21-year-old completed 90 minutes against Liverpool on Sunday despite picking up a knock early on in the first half as a result of a cynical foul by Jordan Henderson.

Rashford looked set to be replaced in the opening period but muscle injuries to Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard meant United were out of substitutions by half-time.

The Reds dropped out of the top four as a result of their draw with Liverpool and Solskjaer will be eager to return to winning ways despite the club's injury woes.

Ander Herrera, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata, Anthony Martial, Phil Jones, Jesse Lingard, Matteo Darmian and Antonio Valencia have all been ruled out of the trip to Palace. …
