WEDNESDAY Theatre / Operation Black Antler Prior to its debut at last year's Brighton Festival, Operation Black Antler - an immersive theatre piece from Blast Theory and Hydrocracker - was mired in controversy. A powerful, disturbing show tackling the morality of police surveillance, Operation Black Antler sparked a huge online backlash from Brighton's activist community. Critics claimed the show would make light of the trauma suffered by victims of covert police operations.

One year on and - especially in light of recent events - Operation Black Antler is likely to generate even more passionate debate as it makes its Manchester debut at HOME this week.
