1954 MARCH 9: Bolton Wanderers players and their manager Bill Ridding are in cheerful mood as they prepared for their Sixth Round FA Cup tie with Sheffield Wednesday.

The team had knocked out mighty Liverpool 1-0 in the Third Round and then beat Headington United and Portsmouth.

The players training included Eric Bell, Stan Hanson, Malcolm Barrass and Derek Hennin.
