BERNARDO Silva believes City fans are more keen to see their club retain the Premier League title this season than win the Champions League - but says the Blues are out to do both!

City are top of the table after beating Bournemouth 1-0 on Saturday, with Liverpool squandering the chance to leapfrog Pep Guardiola's side with their fourth draw in six games.

City have won nine of their last 10 league fixtures to bridge a gap to Liverpool that stood at 10 points on December 30. Guardiola led his side to a record-breaking, 100-point league triumph last season, but was left disappointed when the Blues crashed out of the Champions League at the quarter-final stage with a 5-1 aggregate defeat to Liverpool. And Bernardo says European success is a major priority.

"I think from the supporters there is more pressure to win the Premier League," the midfielder said. …
