UNITED midfielder Ander Herrera has revealed he would love the club to appoint Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on a permanent basis.

The Norwegian has enjoyed a tremendous spell of form since taking charge of the Reds and is yet to lose a domestic fixture, as the club chase a top-four finish and clash with Wolves in the FA Cup later this month.

An official decision on the long-term managerial position at Old Trafford is yet to be announced but Solskjaer has earned support from a wealth of fans, journalists and former players for his performances.

Herrera has also joined the long list of those praising Solskjaer, stating that he has quickly established a strong bond with his squad of players.
