PSG Handed Injury Boost Ahead of United Clash

PARIS Saint-Germain have been handed an early injury boost ahead of their Champions League fixture against United.

The French Champions are preparing for the second-leg of the knockout tie and have been handed some good news ahead of the match.

Edinson Cavani was back in training for PSG on Tuesday afternoon as his side put the finishing touches to their preparation for the match tonight.

The Uruguay international has not been involved in of any of the previous seven match day squads having suffered a hip injury against Bordeaux at the start of February.

PSG go into the clash with a two-goal lead and could still rest Cavani for the match even if he is available for selection on Wednesday night. Cavani is PSG's all-time leading goal scorer and had already scored 17 times in 16 league appearances this season, with a further two strikes coming in the Champions League. …
