While Liverpool and United have jetted off to Dubai this year to recharge their batteries, the Blues' success in the domestic cups has created a relentless schedule that has left little time to relax between games.

The last time the Blues had a full week between matches was in August. But their FA Cup win over Cardiff has created a free midweek, and they do not play Leicester until Saturday evening.

With more than seven days between games, Pep Guardiola has given his players four off to spend however they please before regrouping for an intense run that involves four games in four competitions before the end of the month.
