OLE Gunnar Solskjaer has suggested he was not certain Marcus Rashford would take the penalty that completed United's extraordinary Champions League comeback against Paris Saint-Germain.

The Video Assistant Review adjudged that Diogo Dalot's stoppage-time goalbound shot was handled by Presnel Kimpembe and, after a nervewracking four-minute-and-ninesecond wait, Rashford stepped up to beat Gianluigi Buffon and send United through.

Paul Pogba has been United's main penalty taker this season but was suspended for the second leg in Paris. Romelu Lukaku scored a third successive brace to put United 2-1 up at the Parc des Princes but Rashford stepped up to take his first career penalty for United.
