Arsenal's Extra Game Ahead of Premier League Run-In

ARSENAL will play an extra fixture in the middle of their Premier League run-in as they battle United for a top four finish.

The Gunners beat the Reds at the Emirates on Sunday to establish a two-point advantage in the race for the top four with eight games to go.

Arsenal are widely considered to have the more favourable run-in compared to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men and fellow challengers Chelsea as Unai Emery's men do not have to play another top-six side again in their final games.

While Arsenal remain in the Europa League, they trail Rennes 3-1 after the first leg, and could find themselves without any additional distractions if they cannot progress to the quarter-finals in the second leg tonight.

That is until the club announced a warm-weather training break to Dubai in the absence of an FA Cup or Premier League fixture this coming weekend. …
