BRACE yourselves for the Big 'Un…it just doesn't get any better than the top race at the world's greatest horse racing festival.

The centrepiece of the Cheltenham Festival, The Gold Cup (3.30pm), is when the best of the best, at level weights, chase jump racing's most prestigious honour.

Last year's winner Native River will love the soft ground, as he's always staying on.

No race this season has quite played to these strengths yet, but this one will and if Native River does go first past the post it will empty my pockets big time.

Sir Erec Among those up against him is the great hope of Ireland, last year's RSA winner Presenting Percy. He tuned up for this by winning a hurdle race at Gowran Park, and I believe Galway laid on some practise for him by turning their fences t'other way around, to provide a flavour of what Cheltenham has in store! …
