Debbie Wasn't Just a Mum, She Was Our Best Friend

THE children of a mother and grandmother found stabbed to death have paid tribute to their 'best friend.' .

Debbie Twist was found dead by police at a house on Manchester Road, Leigh, on Sunday night. The 47-year-old had three children and three grandchildren.

Paying tribute, Ms Twist's heartbroken daughter Beth and sons Jordan and Mark said she was 'more than just a mum' to them.

The siblings said their mother would be 'missed by everyone'. In a statement, they said: "Debbie wasn't just a mum. She was our best friend and a friend to many.

"She was the best nanna to Elise, Myla and Maisie and mother-in-law to Adam.

"She was the much-loved sister of Brian, Anne-Marie, Kelly and Sean.

"She was taken from us too soon and under tragic circumstances. She will be missed by everyone.

"We would like to thank everyone for their kind words, cards, condolences and flowers. …
