LEDUC, Alberta. x-10s. The leader of Alberta's United Conservative Party is condemning comments that caused a Calgary candidate to resign. Calgary-Mountain View candidate Caylan Ford stepped down after the left-leaning Press Progress website reported on what it says was a private Facebook conversation from 2017. Among other things, Ford was quoted as saying she is saddened by the replacement of white people in their homelands. U-C-P Leader Jason Kenney says Ford did the right thing by resigning. But he takes issue with the notion that his party has a broader issue with racism.
