Mata Puts Himself in Line for Return after the Break

JUAN MATA should be in contention to start for United when they return to action after the international break.

The Spaniard missed United's last three Premier League games with a hamstring injury which he sustained in the goalless draw against Liverpool last month.

He made his return in the FA Cup defeat to Wolves before the international break when he came on as a second half substitute and the 30-year-old has been working hard during the international break to get back to full fitness.

"In terms of training sessions, this week has been a very positive one for me," Mata wrote in his weekly blog.

"I have made the most of the chance to get in top shape after making my return in the FA Cup not long ago. I am feeling good and I am looking forward to doing whatever I can to help the team as much as possible. …
