DUBAI AUTHORITIES - NO R. KELLY BOOKINGS THERE

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) _ The government of Dubai (doo-BY') in United Arab Emirates denies R. Kelly's claim of planned concerts and royal meetings there. In a rare statement, Dubai's media office says Kelly is not booked at any venues, authorities there have not received any request from Kelly and the Dubai royal family has not invited Kelly. Kelly's lawyer, Steve Greenberg, had asked for permission in court documents last week for Kelly to travel to Dubai in April because he had three to five shows contracted there and he was supposed to meet the royal family. Greenberg had said Kelly needs to work to raise money to pay child support. Neither Kelly nor Greenberg could be reached for comment.

BARBRA STREISAND - APOLOGIZES FOR MICHAEL JACKSON COMMENTS

NEW YORK (AP) _ Barbra Streisand says she should have chosen her words more carefully in giving her opinion on the two men who say in the documentary "Leaving Neverland" that Michael Jackson abused them. Streisand apologized in a statement, saying she admires Wade Robson and James Safechuck for "speaking their truth" and she did not mean to dismiss their trauma. Streisand had told The Times of London, "You can say 'molested,' but those children, as you heard say, they were thrilled to be there. They both married and they both have children, so it didn't kill them." She had also said Jackson's "sexual needs were his sexual needs, coming from whatever childhood he has or whatever D-N-A he has."
