Calgary authorities say they'll be laying second-degree murder charges against a man after they found the bodies of a missing woman and toddler.

The suspected remains of 25-year-old Jasmine Lovett and her 22-month-old daughter, Aliyah (uh-LEE'-yah) Sanderson, were found early Monday in a heavily wooded area of Kananaskis Country.

Police have re-arrested the man they briefly took into custody two weeks ago.

It's believed the woman and her daughter were murdered between the night of April 16th and early on April 17th.

Their bodies were then dumped on the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains between the 17th and the 20th. (19)

Conservative defence critic James Bezan calls the report a damning indictment of the Trudeau government.

U-S officials say the federal government's requirement -- that fighter jet producers reinvest in Canada -- is incompatible with Canada's obligations as a member of the group of countries working together to develop the F-35 stealth fighter. …
