Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will hold the last of his meetings with opposition leaders this morning with a post-election sitdown with Elizabeth May.

May has stepped down as Green party leader since last month's election, but is staying on to lead the Greens' three-member caucus in the House of Commons.

Trudeau has spent each morning since Tuesday meeting with the leaders of the Conservatives, Bloc Quebecois and N-D-P as he prepares to return to Parliament December 5th with only a minority mandate for his Liberals.

He'll need the backing of at least one of those parties to get any law passed, and his first test will be support for his throne speech laying out his plans for governing.(3)



U-S President Donald Trump says the current impeachment probe has been "very hard" on his family.

He made the comment while in Louisiana for a rally last night as he tried to energize voters to cast a ballot for a Republican candidate for governor.

Trump is accused of holding up congressional military aid to Ukraine while he pressured the country to investigate Democratic rival Joe Biden and his son.
