Mendy Says Blues Still Have Room to Improve

BENJAMIN Mendy thinks City will get better as they continue to chase Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.

Defeat at Anfield a fortnight ago left the champions nine points behind Jurgen Klopp's side but an important victory over Chelsea on Saturday stopped the gap from growing even further - and showed that the Blues will fight for their title.

Mendy was not part of the squad for Liverpool and is one of a number of players to have struggled with injuries this season; Sergio Aguero, Rodri, and David Silva were all forced off at the weekend to add to the problems for Pep Guardiola.

However, the manager has still seen enough from his team to believe they can challenge for the league and Mendy expects things to be easier as their injury issues fade.
