Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin says head coach Claude Julien will return as head coach for next season. Bergevin gave Julien his vote of confidence in interviews on T-V-Ah and R-D-S from the N-H-L general managers' meeting in Boca Raton. Julien is in his second stint as Habs coach. But he has only made the playoffs once since rejoining the team in 2017.

The Montreal Impact signed midfielder Victor Wanyama (WAHN'-ya-ma) as a designated player. He joined the team through a free transfer and is now under contract for the next three seasons. The 28-year old last played for Tottenham Hotspur of the Premier League. He scored seven goals in 97 career appearances in all competitions for the North London-based club.

Leon Draisaitl (DRY'-sait-ihl) and the Edmonton Oilers play the Dallas Stars in N-H-L action tonight.
