DON BARNES, a former animal researcher, is the Southern Field Representative for the Animal Protection Institute and executive director of VOICE for Animals, Inc.; Don is a twenty-year veteran of the animal rights movement.
GENE BAUSTON is cofounder and director of Farm Sanctuary, a farm animal protection organization. He visits farms, stockyards, and slaughterhouses to document and expose animal abuse. He works to promote new laws and to utilize existing laws to protect farm animals.
MARC BEKOFF is professor of Biology at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He and Jane Goodall have cofounded the organization Ethologists for the Ethical Treatment of Animals: Citizens for Responsible Animal Behavior Studies (www.ethologicalthics.org).
