If my clothing has arrived send it to Cairo to be retained until called for if you should not have an opportunity of sending by private hands.
Hillyer of my Staff is now in St. Louis and will be joining me in a day or two. If he should call give my packages to him and direct him to go to Cairo and await me there should he not find a boat starting when he gets ready to move.
Say to him that I have a horse at Arnott's 1 stable which I want him to bring also.
