1264 Summa contra gentiles completed.
1266 Summa theologiae begun.
1267 De regimine principum possibly abandoned on the death of its dedicatee; finished some years later by Tolommeo of Lucca.
1269–72 Teaching at Paris; Commentaries on Aristotle.
1272–3 Teaching at the Dominican Studium at Naples. Sudden illness, December 1273; Summa theologiae discontinued.
1274 Died 7 March, Fessa Nuova.
