Additional Sources for Information
All the newsletters listed below are being moderated, that is, the editor checks what material is being included. The advantage of subscribing to such a moderated newsletter instead of an unmoderated Listserver is that most, if not all, insignificant and unrelated content is eliminated before the newsletter reaches your e-mailbox.
The best way to find out is to subscribe to three of the newsletters below and try them out for a few weeks. All newsletters are free!
Computer Underground Digest (CUD) is an open forum dedicated to sharing information among computerists and to the presentation and debate of diverse views. CUD material may be reprinted for nonprofit as long as the source is cited. Authors hold a presumptive copyright, and they should be contacted for reprint permission. It is assumed that nonpersonal mail to the moderators may be reprinted unless otherwise specified. Readers are encouraged to submit reasoned articles relating to computer culture and communication. Articles are preferred to short responses. Please avoid quoting previous posts unless absolutely necessary. Address:
