Biographical Dictionary of Twentieth-Century Philosophers

By Stuart Brown; Diané Collinson et al. | Go to book overview

INDEX OF INFLUENCES
This is an index of influences on twentieth-century philosophers. It is drawn almost entirely from what contributors have provided under the heading Influences in the context of particular entries and should be used in conjunction with other indexes, in particular the Category Index. Many of those categorized as 'Marxist' philosophers are not also listed here as influenced by Marx, since it was judged repetitious. Often those listed as influenced by a particular tradition would be said to belong to another tradition.
