carryover from 1988. Of the maximum residues (14.39 kg a.i./ha) found in these zones 27 DAT, 13% (1.87 kg a.i./ha) carried over into 1990. These data indicate a need to consider the carryover of these two herbicides in relation to the need for and rate of application necessary for continued preemergent weed control in turfgrass.
