Grading and Reporting
So far we've discussed what's involved in grading and reporting, the importance of purpose, and the need for comprehensive reporting systems. We now turn to our main goal: the important role that you, as a parent, play in grading and reporting. In particular, we focus on the important part you play in improvement efforts. To bring about positive and productive changes in grading and reporting, parents and educators must work together. Both have to do their part to initiate change, shape improvements, and assist in implementation.
In this chapter we'll consider specific things you can do to help in this process.
