Tim Dalgleish is a Research Scientist at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit in Cambridge, UK and a practising Clinical Psychologist at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. He carried out his doctoral thesis at the Institute of Psychiatry in London and also completed his clinical training there, before moving to Cambridge. His research interests include psychological reactions to trauma and cognition-emotion relations in emotional disorders in general. He has coauthored a book, Cognition and Emotion: From Order to Disorder, with Mick Power.
Mick J. Power is currently Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Edinburgh and a practising clinical psychologist in the Royal Edinburgh Hospital. In the past he has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of London and has worked as a clinical psychologist at Guy's Hospital, and the Bethlem and Maudsley Hospitals. He has worked for the Medical Research Council and currently acts as a Research Advisor to the World Health Organization. He has carried out research on emotion and on emotional disorders for many years and is the co-author, with Tim Dalgleish, of Cognition and Emotion: From Order to Disorder.
