Ron Fridell has written for radio, television, newspapers, and textbooks. He has written books on social and political issues, such as terrorism and espionage, and scientific topics, such as DNA fingerprinting and global warming. His most recent book for Marshall Cavendish Benchmark is Environmental Issues in our Open for Debate series. He taught English as a second language while a member of the Peace Corp in Bangkok, Thailand. He lives in Evanston, Illinois, with his wife Patricia and his dog, an Australian Shepherd named Madeline.
