Rights Revolution: Gender Equality
Instructions: You are to work with the other members of your group to develop a short written presentation (no more than three pages) and a timeline tracing the evolution and expansion of gender equality, which you will share with the entire class. One member of your group will introduce the material with a three-to five-minute overview. The other members of the group will answer any questions the class has about the material.The Supreme Court and Congress played major roles expanding gender equality. Begin your research by investigating the decisions and laws below. Then, broaden your research to include other factors important in extending gender equality.You presentation should address:

Groups important in advocating for equality for women
Political conditions and, if appropriate, laws extending equality for women
Social conditions important in expanding gender equality
