Andrea Kay is a career consultant, syndicated columnist, and author of six career books, including the popular book, Life’s a Bitch and Then You Change Careers: 9 Steps to Get Out of Your Funk and On to Your Future. She specializes in “Career Therapy,” in which she quickly gets to the heart of the issue to help people get where they want to go.
A weekly newspaper columnist since 1988, Andrea has written more than 1,300 articles on careers and workplace issues. Today, her syndicated column, “At Work,” appears in USA Today and Gannett newspapers across the United States, other Gannett media, and on the web.
Andrea has been awarded the Women In Communications Gem Award for adherence to the highest standards of practice in professional communications and support of women in the workforce. She has been named Best Career Consultant as well as Leading Consultant and Trainer by Leading Women, and her books have been recognized for literary and artistic achievement.
