White & Case Hires Capital Markets Partner from Linklaters

White & Case, the law firm, has recruited Tim Jeveons as a partner in its capital markets group in London as part of a drive to build up its European franchise.Jeveons was previously a senior associate at Linklaters in London, where he worked on behalf of lead managers and issuers on several debt and equity-related debt transactions. He has experience of mature and emerging market debt transactions, as well as Tier One and convertible bonds.
At White & Case, Jeveons will report to Rachel Hatfield and Francis Fitzherbert-Brockholes, the co-heads of the firm's capital markets group in London, which comprises eight partners and 24 associates. Fitzherbert-Brockholes is also co-head of the European capital markets group.
Hatfield said: "Recruiting Tim is in line with our strategy to develop our capital markets and structured finance capability and expertise across Europe."
The hire of Jeveons follows the arrival of David Barwise, another ex-Linklaters lawyer, at White & Case in January. Barwise, who has experience of collateralised debt obligations (CDOs), repackagings, derivatives and whole business securitisations, joined the structured finance team, which is headed by Rich Reilly. …
