Lovell Wins Work across Wales

AFFORDABLE housing provider Lovell has won new work worth pounds 78m this year.
The company, which has its Wales office in Gwaelod-y-Garth, near Cardiff, has secured a number of new contracts across the coun t ry.
``Lovell has made an excellent start to the year, securing a number of major housing regeneration schemes across the United Kingdom,'' said managing director Stewart Davenport.
``Our refurbishment programme is also flourishing and this year we will peak at a refurbishment rate of 2,000 homes a month.''
In Wales, Lovell has gained more than pounds 28m of new contracts this spring.
Key projects include a pounds 7.5m mixed tenure site at Regents Meadow, Monmouth, working in partnership with Gwerin Housing Association to provide 33 homes for low-cost home ownership.
Lovell is also developing the site of the former Llanelli Technical College at Llanelli, with a pounds 5.4m scheme to build 46 threeand four-bedroom houses for open market sale. …
