Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary at the Historic Manila Hotel on September 17, 2004
The Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) was established on March 29, 1954, as a non-stock, non-profit organization. The FederationEs paramount objectives are: To foster and encourage the development and growth of trade and industry in the Philippines; to cultivate, promote, and enhance friendly relations among members; to cooperate with the Philippine government in the implementation of its national policies, to foster and support the development and growth of economic and other programs that will promote the progress of our nation.
The FederationEs major programs and projects are trade and investment missions and forging partnerships with international chambers of commerce and business organizations. Labor management consultations are held to disseminate and draw feedback on new labor policies and regulations and extend support to local industries and workers.
To promote the development of education, the Federation constructs and donates schoolhouses annually throughout the country to augment the schoolbuilding program of the Department of Education u a project which has been acknowledged and appreciated by the citizenry.
In line with the paramount objectives of the Federation and guided by President Gloria Macapagal ArroyoEs program of government, the Federation is now called upon on its Fiftieth Anniversary to manifest its trust and confidence in the country and help move it towards speedy recovery from the economic downtrend worldwide, by encouraging its members to invest and establish more businesses and industries to help boost our economic progress and help provide more jobs for our people.
With the creation of more job opportunities, Filipinos will not have to migrate and work in other countries. They can remain here to look after the well-being of their children and live as happy and united families. …
