CASTLE Vale School and Specialist Performing Arts College continues to offer the best the performing arts can offer alongside a first class education for all.

The school has just staged an excellent version of Fame as its Christmas production, with brilliant performances from the cast and huge enthusiasm from the audience on each of the three nights.

All of the performing arts are offered atGCSE level, with professional dancers providing the input to support teaching in drama and music.

Excellence is the aim in all the school does. This year has seen a group of Year 12 students taking a performing arts qualification in conjunction with Josiah Mason College.

The school hopes to build on this exciting development to offer further courses next year for post 16 education.

The building of the brand new Castle Vale Community College Campus means there will be sixth form education on the doorstep for Castle Vale School students and strong links will be forged to give the best opportunities at all levels.

The academic subjects and sport are equally important, with netball and football teams having great seasons, winning the majority of their matches and performing well. …
