Kelda Water Services managing director Paul Wynn said, 'This, together with other contracts, including a 25-year, pounds 1bn contract with the Ministry of Defence to run water and waste water operations at bases and establishments in Wales, South- West England and parts of the Midlands, means that in a five-year period we have gone from a business with a zero turnover to one with a pounds 100m turnover.
'This latest contract builds not only on our success over the last five years, but also what Yorkshire Water has achieved in the same time period.
'It is also a huge testament to the hard work and commitment of the people who worked on putting the bid together and working in Wales since September, when we were announced as the preferred partner,' he added. …
