SCOTLAND'S CAREERS AND JOBS FAIR 2005: STEP UP to a Brighter FUTURE; Scotland's Colleges and Universities Look to Attract Students of All Ages
IF you believe that going to college or university is a stepping stone to a better career, then Scotland's Careers & Jobs Fair is a must. Many of Scotland's universities and colleges will be there, providing details of their courses, entrance requirements, and all the practical things you need to know about becoming a student, whether part-time or full-time.
Fourteen further education colleges are taking part, including those specialising in fields such as agriculture, forestry, construction, nautical studies or food.
Irene Allan, of Reid Kerr College, said: 'Anyone interested in finding out what life is really like as a student at Reid Kerr can come along and chat to one of our current students at our stand. Plus, there will be a team of student advisers there who can help with information on issues such as funding.'
Like many of the further and higher education establishments taking part, Reid Kerr is keen to attract people of all ages.
