Apangea SmartHelp 2.0 expands the hybrid tutoring program with additional math content and enhanced tools for managing and reporting student progress. The updated program, combining intelligent software with live support from human tutors, features new subject areas including algebraic graphing, probability, and statistics. The improved Learning Management System enables customized content and tutoring sessions. Additional advanced reporting capabilities allow administrators to structure reports by subgroups. Live Ink Reading Help is now available in the online versions of Holt textbooks, including Holt Biology and the entire line of Holt Online Learning Social Studies curricula. The Live Ink technology conveys visual cues to sentence structure through a method of reformatting text in a visually friendly, cascading phrase style that helps students become better readers. Discovery Education has released video offerings covering science, geography, and social studies. SoundBooth allows students to record and play back their voices while learning vocabulary, practicing pronunciations, or completing speaking activities in their online texts.
