Star-Studded 10th Anniversary of Imperial Palace Suites


Mother Lily (Monteverde) was a picture of bliss and contentment during the 10th anniversary celebration of her Imperial Palace Suites. In attendance were executives from the travel and hotel industry, and as expected it was a star-studded event with most of her stars showing up to join in the celebration. Of course, their clients and colleagues, managers and employees of ACCOR and Imperial Palace Suites were also there.

By the way, it was also the eve of Mother Lily's birth anniversary that night.

The program was hosted by Iza Calzado, who came in a Filipiniana period costume like the ones she used in her and Dingdong Dantes' forthcoming movie "Eternity." Among the celebrities and movie stars spotted at the event included Tony Tuviera and Malou Choa-Fagar of TAPE, Inc., Dingdong Dantes, Annabelle Rama, Mark Herras, Princess Violago, Pops Fernandez, Giselle Sanchez, Rustom Padilla, Dennis Trillo, and Iya Vilania.

Following is Mother Lily's speech: "In the past 10 years, I've seen Imperial Palace grow from the biggest gamble of my life into one of the hotel industry's most amazing success stories. Who would have guessed that when my business partner, Mr. Tama, convinced me to acquire the property that was once Birds of the Same Feather, that we could be toasting the 10th anniversary of Imperial Palace Suites tonight, more than a decade later.

"And we are not only commemorating an anniversary - we are also celebrating with justifiable pride and joy the Imperial Palace Suites' undisputed position as one of Quezon City's most popular business and leisure hotels. As other establishments in the vicinity try to attract more customers, our beloved Imperial Palace Suites is frequently overbooked, even during the so-called lean seasons.

"This hotel's exceptional performance and reputation would not have been possible without the dedication and tireless efforts of Imperial Palace's managers, sales and marketing team, employees and staff, who treat out clients and customers so well that many of them keep coming back, and even recommend our establishment to their friends and co-workers. …
