'Fantastic Support' Helps Mercedes-Benz and Sinclair Cruise into Business Park

Cardiff Gate International Business Park will be the home of a flagship Mercedes-Benz franchise operated by the Sinclair group. It will make 'a multi-million- pound investment' in the purchase of the new dealership, which will be visible from the nearby M4.
Sir Robert McAlpine has been commissioned to construct the dealership, to occupy a site of 2.76 acres. It will include showrooms, service workshops and customer care facilities.
The Sinclair Group is expecting to move into the completed premises in March 2007. More than 100 people will be employed at the new dealership, which will be relocating from its current location at Pentwyn, Cardiff.
The group has opened dealerships at the SA1 Waterfront Scheme in Swansea and at Bocam Park, off junction 35 of the M4 at Bridgend.
Andrew Sinclair, operations director of Sinclair Group Mercedes-Benz, said, 'The fantastic support we have received from the people of South Wales has been instrumental in turning our local business into the success it is today. This new development will not only deliver a state-of-the-art facility for all our new and existing Mercedes-Benz customers, it also allows us to show our appreciation by supporting the South Wales economy. …
