MARK JONES scored the winner as Wrexham ended Swindon's 100 per cent start to the season with a 2-1 victory at the Racecourse Stadium.
The win maintains the Dragons' unbeaten start to the campaign and brings to an end a run that saw Dennis Wise's side win six games on the bounce.
"We are disappointed and the lads are down," admitted Wise. "In one respect I'm glad they're down, because it's a kick up the backside, which will be good for us."
Jones' winner came just a minute after Ryan Valentine had equalised Paul Evans' opener for the Robins.
Swindon nearly took a first-half lead, but goalkeeper Michael Ingham did well to hold on to Jack Smith's 20-yard drive.
But minutes later, the leaders did open their account in the 27th minute through Evans.
Curtis Weston was cruelly hacked down by Danny Williams a full 35 yards from goal. But the distance did little to faze Evans as the 32-year-old unleashed a vicious swerving strike to leave Ingham helpless. …
