Joanne and Simon Join Lambert Smith Hampton; APPOINTMENTS


LAMBERT SMITH HAMPTON has strengthened its Birmingham-based Building Consultancy Division with the appointment of two surveyors.

Joanne Embleton joins as a senior surveyor from DTZ. Ms Embleton has more than five years' experience in building surveying and consultancy and will manage a number of clients at LSH.

Simon Hallam joins as a surveyor from a practice in Stoke-on-Trent. He will work closely with other members of the seven strong team at LSH.

The Birmingham office of national property consultants CURRY & PARTNERS is strengthening its presence in the region with the appointment of three senior managers to its property management team.

Joining a department of fifteen, Andrew Winstanley has a decade of experience in leasehold management. He will be responsible for Curry & Partners' residential development portfolio in the south of England.

He is joined by Diana van Aperen who, having worked for over ten years in Midlands-based property management, will now take charge of the firm's local new-build schemes.

The trio is completed by Kerry Shugar, a senior property professional, latterly with Waterloo Housing Association, who will take responsibility for a mix of developments in and around Birmingham.

Midlands-based affordable housing provider and regeneration specialist LOVELL - which has regional offices at the Woodgate Valley Business Park, Birmingham, and its national head office in Tamworth - has appointed Peter Quinn as head of business development.

He joins Lovell from Midland Heart where he was director of new business since May 2000 and lead director for Cygnet, the part of the group managing shared ownership and market rent properties.

Wolverhampton-based accountancy practice AGS has promoted Laura Williams to the position of director. …
