Party for Tragic Sharon; Hospice Cash Fundraiser

IT will be a party to celebrate her birthday - but the woman in question will not be there.
Family and friends will gather for Sharon Pinchen's 38th birthday, even though she died six months ago.
And they will dig deep to raise cash for the hospice that helped her in her final days.
Today her parents, Tom and Pam Pinchen, told how they will remember their daughter.
"We will be raising money for the Marie Curie Hospice," said Pam, 60, of Yewburn Way, Long-benton, North Tyneside.
The event, at the Four Lane Ends Social Club, is being organised by friend Angie Armstrong.
Sharon would have been 38 on September 22 and the bash is being held the following weekend on Saturday, September 27.
Sharon died in March after being diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago.
From the age of 14 she fought illness and was diagnosed as being diabetic. Later, aged 19, she developed bulimia. At her worst, Sharon weighed six and a half stone. But two years ago, she discovered a lump on her right breast and a scan revealed cancer. …
