Cottage Grove High School will hold its graduation ceremony on June 7 at 2 p.m. on the Don King Football Field at Cottage Grove High School.

Four students will share the honor of class valedictorian: Evan Carmi, Christine McReynolds, Matthew Harrison and Elysse Sorenson.

Carmi is the son of Tal Carmi and Miriam Edell and Leslie Rubinstein. He will be a Rotary International Ambassador next year to Spain and plans to study computer science at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn., when he returns. He has been involved in Future Business Leaders of America, soccer and Interact.

McReynolds is the daughter of Christopher and Pamela McReynolds. She plans to attend Brigham Young University as a business major. She was student body treasurer and participated in wind ensemble and volleyball.

Harrison, the son of Jim Harrison and Lauren Fuller, plans to attend the University of Oregon as a physics and music major. He has been a member of the music department, Interact Club and Chess Club.

Sorenson, the daughter of Scott and Ellen Sorenson, plans to continue working at Northwest Community Credit Union. She served as student body treasurer and student store manager and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Salutatorian Sasha Hakanson is the daughter of Kim and Guy Hakanson. She plans to attend the University of Oregon as a math major. She has been involved in band and drama.
