From a Smile to Tears in a Single Day, the Erratic World of Jonathan Rhys Meyers

JUST 24 hours after all seemed well in the world of Jonathan Rhys Meyers, he appears on U.S. television and breaks down in tears.
On Tuesday, with his third visit to rehab seemingly working wonders, the Tudors actor looked tanned and refreshed with Annabelle Wallis at a premiere of the hit show's new season in New York.
However, yesterday, he turned up on a morning chat show and began blubbering uncontrollably.
And while he is no stranger to public displays of emotion - he was pictured looking understandably upset after the death of his mother two years ago, and his distress was on full display again when he lost out on a Golden Globe in January - the outburst surely came as something of a surprise to viewers.
They could have been forgiven for assuming the star had suffered another personal tragedy.
It transpired, however, that the 31-year-old was not shedding tears over the loss of his own nearest and dearest , but over the death of John Travolta's 16-year-old son Jett, who died in January.
Rhys Meyers apparently became very close to the Hollywood actor during the filming of From Paris With Love late last year.
Speaking about his co-star's bereavement on The View, Rhys Meyers said: 'It's a very trying time for his family.
'Jett was a beautiful boy. But John is strong - he's strong and he's smart. …
