Fancy Seeing You Here; FOOTBALL: Griff and Copsewood Renew Their Rivalry in Ricoh Arena Showdown

OLD rivals Coventry Copsewood and Nuneaton Griff contest the 118th Telegraph Challenge Cup final tonight at the Ricoh Arena with both out to build on impressive records in the area's foremost competition for junior clubs.
Copsewood, formerly GEC Coventry, have won the trophy six times while their opponents, under banners of Nuneaton Co-op, Amateurs and Griff, are five-time holders.
In the last four decades, the rivalry between the Allard Way outfit and Pingles-based Griff has produced highly committed and entertaining encounters.
This is the last opportunity for either to put silverware into their trophy cabinets this season, while for bosses Steve Farmer of Griff and Carl Nolan at Copses it is a chance to record their first cup success in their respective managerial roles.
Nolan, whose side were not in action at the weekend, admits Copsewood have struggled to find their form of late in the Midland Combination top flight but hopes tonight's final brings out the best in his men.
"We are underdogs but I'm certain the big pitch and flat playing surface will suit us," he said.
"At our best we are a joy to watch.
I just want the good side to turn up as inconsistency season has been a concern..
